Using the foundational building blocks set up in the Level One Beginners workshop, the Level Two course will help take the students’ practice to the next level. Taught by Yoga Manchester’s Marie Harris, the course will enable students to adapt the postures within the Primary Series to their own body and understand how to abridge the sequence for a shorter practice.
Built upon the themes of Hip Opening, Shoulder Stability, Core Strength, and Back Bending, students will be taught how to progressively improve their capacity in each of these areas, whilst also being encouraged to think independently about crafting a practice that suits their needs. With regular practise, students can expect to move safely towards postures including Padmasana, Supta Kurmasana, Headstand, and Urdhva Danurasana to name but a few.
To encourage an independent practise, students will be given :
Copies of the sequences featured
A one day Mysore-style Yoga class pass worth £12.00
The workshop will be an intensive day, however, everyone will leave with the resources and confidence to get to grips with the ‘crazy’ postures in the Primary Series.
