This workshop progresses through two stages; The first part is an intensive exploration and flow through the Yoga Manchester ‘dance sequence’, which features Yoga’s greatest moves set to music. We’ll learn the sequence together in shorter sections and then flow through it at a faster pace.
The second part of the class is a Yoga improvisation session in which we’ll explore the edges and push the boundaries of typical Yoga postures through improvised movement, accompanied by music. The workshop ends with a calming and restoring finishing sequence, followed by a body scan and relaxation. This is a challenging workshop, but one that will develop your rhythm and creativity aside from all the usual benefits of a Yoga practice. The workshop will be strong but fun and is open to all levels.
