Carling Harps Awakening Yoga weekend

Yoga Manchester are super excited to bring you details of a weekend workshop with the AMAZING Carling Harps.

As a founder of Awakening Yoga, and owner of Commune Yoga, Carling has traveled the world offering workshops and facilitating trainings in the AY style.

Carling Harps is a Yoga teacher, FRCms and a Kinstretch Instructor specializes in Awakening Yoga, Mobility and Sports Performance. She was trained as a doula by Penny Simpkin in 2014 and also focuses on Pre & Post Natal Yoga. Carling treats every teaching moment as an opportunity for connection, community, and growth

Friday 15 Sep 7pm-9pm  

THE ART OF CHILL: RESTORE & REJUVENATE

This multi- faceted practice will take students on a restorative journey through a layered descent into ease. Softening the body, then softening the mind, in this practice we begin with mellow movement and somatic explorations before surrendering into deep restoratives and finishing with Yoga Nirda to bring balance to restless bodies and tired minds

All levels are welcome to this fun journey into the practice.

AWAKENING YOGA: FULL SOLAR PRACTICE

Ready to dive in? The full Awakening Yoga Solar Practice will take you through each Postural Series in the AY Vinyasa system, carefully crafted to explore a well- rounded yet challenging journey across asana,pranayama, and inner exploration.

The Full Practice asks for your complete attention through both expansive movement and complete stillness. Shifting within the balance of organicfreedom and structure to create a practice experience all your own no matter how many times you step on the mat.

All levels are welcome to this fun exploration of the practice. Join in as we grow wings and prepare for take off!

MOVE BETTER, FEEL BETTER: MOBILITY MEETS ASANA

MOBILITY 101

This technique  series course is designed to give students, teachers, and enthusiastic learners an introduction to mobility, and movement mechanics.

Breaking down key concepts in biomechanics, mobility techniques, and how they apply to the asana practice makes this a unique exploration in range  of motion, joint health, and strength ( at length) training.

Each joint focused workshop dives into the specific demands our practice asks of us and how we can best meet those demands using a combination of evidence- based mobility techniques.

Sunday 17 Sep 10 am -12 pm  

MOVE BETTER, FEEL BETTER: MOBILITY MEETS ASANA

UPPER BODY: SHOULDERS, WRISTS, & SPINES

This technique  series course is designed to give students, teachers, and enthusiastic learners an introduction to mobility, and movement mechanics.

Breaking down key concepts in biomechanics, mobility techniques, and how they apply to the asana practice makes this a unique exploration in range  of motion, joint health, and strength ( at length) training.
