Yoga Manchester’s chief Yogi  Matt Ryan  teaches live Yoga classes online via Zoom. .Please see below for class descriptions.

Mondays 7pm-7.45pm

The classic Yoga Express sequence. Designed by Matt Ryan this 45 minute sequence is a flow through of postures from the Ashtanga Yoga primary series including sun salutes , standing and seated postures , balances and back bends. Open to ALL levels including beginners.

Tuesdays 7pm-7.45pm

Ashtanga with a hint of Vinyasa. A playful sequence using Ashtanga Yoga as a foundation with added postures from different yoga disciplines. Open to ALL levels.

Wednesdays 7pm-8pm

Second series short forms - a fun accessible for all levels intro to the intermediate series of Ashtanga Yoga. Matt will be giving plenty of advice on how to approach the sequence allowing for a safe & fun (and challenging) experience.

Thursdays 7pm-7.45pm

Vinyasa with a hint of Ashtanga. The flip of Tuesday's session , this class will have no set sequence but will flow in a more 'vinyasa' style format where anything goes - at any time. Open to ALL levels.

Fridays 7pm-7.45pm

Slo-Flo Fridays is an exquisite end of the week sequence which will guide students through a more relaxed yin  (as opposed to the Yang of Ashtanga) style practice. Open to ALL levels -perfect for complete beginners.

Saturdays 10-10.45am

It’s get up and go time with our Saturday morning Ashtanga class. Re-energise from the week and feel revitalised for the weekend ahead. This class will help you to create a calm, focused and centred mind, so begin your journey here. Although the class is perfect for beginners, it’s also great for those looking for a slow and mindful back to basics class, a great way to get back into yoga. So, whether you are a complete beginner, or have tried yoga in the past, there’s no need to be wary if you have not tried yoga before.

The yoga practice is inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga sequence giving you total body mobility. Allow tension and tiredness to seep away, leaving you feeling renewed with energy from movements that stretch your body. The class will come to a close with a moment of relaxation, allowing the body to be still and reflect, leaving you feeling invigorated for your day ahead.
