DescriptionPilatesPilates focuses on building your body's core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition low impact stretching and conditioning exercises.Core strength areas are your back, abdominal and pelvic muscles. Through pilates, you will be able to develop these muscles without adding bulk, increase your flexibility and agility, and at the same time tone your stomach and thigh muscles.Pilates helps strengthen and re-align the body’s posture helping to increase movement after injury. However, it goes far beyond core muscles. As well as providing a complete body workout, it also helps develop a keen awareness of how your body works enabling your mind and body to work in harmony. YogaYoga has both preventive and therapeutic benefits. It has been shown to offer both physical and mental benefits to the body and the mind. The many physical benefits of yoga are: it improves flexibility and muscle joint mobility; strengthens, tones, and builds muscles; corrects posture; strengthens the spine; eases back pain; improves muscular-skeletal conditions such as bad knees, tight shoulders and neck, swayback and scoliosis; increases stamina; creates balance and grace; stimulates the glands of the endocrine system; improves digestion and elimination; increases circulation; improves heart conditions; improves breathing disorders; boosts immune response; decreases cholesterol and blood sugar levels; and encourages weight loss.
