Explore Ashtanga Yoga with Joshua Wright.
This class provides the environment for students to explore their mental and physical capacity in a playful manner. Whether developing stamina through vinyasa, exploring more complex and challenging asana, nurturing steady breath/focus or maybe even all three at the same time!
As well as the traditional Ashtanga postures there will also be a wealth of options for students to add to their repertoire in order to work with injuries/restrictions and to help get in to those areas often overlooked in yoga practice. Each class will begin and end with a few minutes of simple and effective pranayama (breathing practice).
Students can also expect to gain a deeper insight in to postural biomechanics, the subtle body and philosophy.
As always, questions are welcomed at any point and Josh will endeavour to answer them in an appropriate manner.
